February 2012 Mission Offering

This month's mission offerings will benefit "The Chaplaincy Ministry."
Chaplain Will Olsen has been Chaplain with the Adams County Adult Correctional Complex in Gettysburg since June 2004.  He coordinates the religious programs, provides Bibles and spiritual books, and helps connect inmates to churches and programs upon release.  Chaplain Olsen also makes the community aware of the impact the "Chaplaincy Ministry" is making in the lives of the inmates by speaking at churches, clubs and organizations.  This local ministry is helping souls into the Kingdom of God and helping to redirect lives back into the community.  The Chaplaincy receives no tax dollars so your prayers and financial support are vital to continue this ministry.  Please keep Chaplain Will Olsen in prayer as he continues to minister to those who walk the halls of the prison.  Your prayerful support and financial gifts are greatly appreciated.  You are making a difference in their lives and in our community.

"The Greatest Story Ever Told" is more than just a cliche.

God goes to great lengths to resuce lost and hurting people.  That is what The Story is all about - the story of the Bible, God's great love affair with humanity.  Condensed into 31 accesible chapters, The Story will sweep you into the unfolding progession of Bible characters and events from Genesis to Revelation.  Using the clear, accesible text of the NIV Bible, it allows the stories, poems, and teachings of the Bible to read like a novel.  And like any good story, The Story is filled with intrigue, drama, conflict, romance, and redemption - and this story's true!
Join us as we explore this exciting story... God's story...in 2012.
